Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5795 and two more E-8's whose numbers are not recorded. All are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5795 was built in June of 1952. ("Tchowee"; #21 of 29) |

Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5850 and #5795. Both were built by EMD. #5850 is an EP-20 built in 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5795 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. The have coupled onto a 12-car passenger train and are awaiting orders to depart the Harrisburg Passenger Station for Altoona, Pittsburgh, and points West. The time is 4:00 P.M. |
