Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by R.P. Olmsted that was taken at Union Station in Chicago, Illinois, on 8 December 1963. Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5795 and two more E-8's whose numbers are not recorded. All are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5795 was built in June of 1952. ("Tchowee"; #21 of 29) |
