Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in March of 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7529, an H-8SA (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8A during June of 1910, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-8SA in March of 1918, and retired in April of 1949 after 39 years of faithful service.
