Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Washington, DC, during September of 1964. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4864, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata during January of 1938 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. In this context, it has just departed Washington's Union Station with the northbound "Manhattan Limited."
