Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6755, #5826, and an unidentified Class I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" steam locomotive. #6755 is an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata as an M-1A during June of 1930, rebuilt as an M-1B in April of 1944, and presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. #5826 is a BH-50 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as a 3,000 HP BP-60 for passenger service in September of 1948, later reclassified as a 2,500 HP BH-50 for helper service, and retired in September of 1962. Produced and distributed by Audio-Visual Designs; 70027C. |

It was published originally in the Fall 1996 issue of "Vintage Rails" magazine, page 84. Top Photo: Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #1670, #94, #460, and #6755; all are presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. #1670 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata in March of 1916. #94 is an A-5S (0-4-0) switcher built in Juniata in January of 1917. #460 is an E-6S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata in August of 1914. And #4755 is an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata in June of 1930.
