Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9593 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. #9593 is a BF-15 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in July of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in June of 1964 after just 13 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #7 of 20)

Description:  Wallin. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Richard R. Wallin that was taken in Crestline, Ohio, in August of 1962. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9585 and #9593. Both are BF-15's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9585 was built in May of 1949, while #9593 was built in July of 1949; both were retired in June of 1964 after just 15 years of revenue service.
