Description:
Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3501, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata during August of 1913 and retired in October of 1951 after 38 years of faithful service. Note the three men at the far right pushing the "Armstrong" turntable! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Roy Healey Collection; #8 of 16.
