PRR 9844, EFP-15, 1965
Mann. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on 19 June 1965. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9844 and #9826. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9844 is an EFP-15 constructed in May of 1952, while #9826 is an EF-15A built in June of 1951. In this context, they're just idling-away on a lazy Saturday afternoon. ("PrrFan18n")
