Photo Caption: "Class L-5 electric locomotive for freight service, 1924." Shown here is PRR engine #3930, an L-5 (1-B-B-1) built in Juniata in January of 1924, rated at 3,300 horsepower, and retired in May of 1944 after 20 years of faithful service.
