Shown here (R to L) are Norfolk Southern Railroad engine #610 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. In this context, they're about to cross Bedford Street and enter the Hollidaysburg Yards with a mixed-cargo freight train. This stretch of track is actually the original right-of-way for the Allegheny Portage Railroad, active between 1834 and 1856.
