Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken at Ivy City Yard in the District of Columbia during February of 1961. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4838, #4840, #4846, and #4828. All are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics built in Juniata and rated at 4,620 horsepower each. All were built during 1935: #4838 in July, #4840 in April, #4846 in May, and #4828 in June. All of their pantographs are in the "up" position. (Tchowee"; #9 of 27)

Description:  Marlow. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4409, an E-44 (C-C) built by General Electric in March of 1961 and rated at 4,400 horsepower. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #4846, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata during May of 1935, rated at 4,620 horsepower, later cut in half and converted into a snowblower, and finally retired in November of 1967. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#7 of 12)
