Description:  WB. Here is an image of a photo entitled "The Altoona PRR yard crew of 1859." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #46, an F-1 (2-6-0) "Mogul," built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as the Class D (2-6-0, 18x22 cylinders, 44" drivers) "Lancaster" during 1852, numbered 46 in 1857, rebuilt in 1866 (18x24 cylinders, 48" drivers), rebuilt again in the Altoona Machine Shops as a Class F-1 (4-6-0) and renumbered 46 (2nd) in May of 1867, and sold to Brown & Thomas in March of 1887. This locomotive is one of just three GG-1's to receive the silver color paint scheme for "Congressional" service, the other two being #4866 and #4880.
