SRS. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Sperry Rail Service Detector Car #132, a "Doodlebug" built by the St. Louis Car Company during April of 1925 and acquired by SRS in 1943. Partially visible at the right is Reading Railroad engine #5205, a C424 built by the American Locomotive Company in November of 1963 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
