Coal Power. Here is an original photo by Richard S. Short that was taken in Xenia, Ohio, on 6 August 1951. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9931, an N-2SA (2-10-2) "Santa Fe" built by the American Locomotive Company as N-2S number "8929" in May of 1919, rebuilt in Juniata as an N-2SA around 1925, renumbered "9931" in 1950, and retired in August of 1952 after 33 years of faithful service.
