Description:
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Nelson Bowers that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, in June of 1952. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6747, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A in July of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in September of 1948, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of service. The road numbers of the A-B-A set of GM-EMD diesels in the background are not recorded. ("LouisFols"; #15 of 15)

Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 25 August 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6747, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during July of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in September of 1948, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. Partially visible at the far left are several unidentified diesel and electric engines that have been readied for their next assignments. ("Stoneborobranch"; #29 of 29)
