Here is page 18 of a 40-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "A Picture Study Of The K-4." First issued in October 1967, revised in September 1976. Both of the locomotives pictured here are Pennsylvania Railroad K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics." Top Photo: #5341 was built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in June of 1948. Bottom Photo: #5442 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927 and retired in February of 1949.

Here is page seven of a 17-page version of the Pennsylvania Railroad's 13-page booklet entitled "Altoona Shops Inspection Trip ~ Sunday, May 16, 1937." It appeared in the September 1981 issue of "The Keystone" magazine, page 10. Partial Caption: "The PRR opened the Test Plant and had K-4s No. 5341 set up for tests...Photos by Dr. Walter Teskey." #5341 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in June of 1948 after 40 years of service.
