Description:  PC Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in the Meadows Engine Servicing Facility near Kearny, New Jersey on 25 December 1969. Shown here is Penn Central Railroad engine #4801, a GG1 (2-C-C-2) built by General Electric for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "4801" during May of 1935, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and retaining number "4801" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
