Description:
WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2333, #2358, and another unit whose number is not recorded. All were built by EMD. #2333 and #2358 are EF-25's built in 1965 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. They are passing through the Altoona Passenger Station with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to Enola and points East. Also visible (L to R) are one of the original PRR 12th Street Car Shop buildings and the PRR Test Plant building.
