PRR 2504, B-8, 1950         
Here is a photo by Arthur B. Johnson that was taken in Glassport, Pennsylvania, on 1 May 1950. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2504, a B-8 (0-6-0) switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1903 and retired in February of 1949 after 46 years of faithful service. Note that the headlight, bell, and main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Williams Collection. (#10,400)
