Shown here are two aerial views of "THE World Famous Horseshoe Curve." Note the oil-powered diesel-electric locomotives pulling a long freight train around the Curve and up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. Also note the Burgoon Run tunnels, just visible at the bottom. |
