MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred R. Kern that was taken near Perdix, Pennsylvania, on 15 November 1959. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2013 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #2013 was built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in February of 1952 and retired in January of 1967 after just 15 years of revenue service. This A-B-A set is passing under Signal Bridge #1142/1141 with what appears to be an iron-ore train bound for the steel mills of Western Pennsylvania. Blue Mountain dominates the distance.
