WB. Here is an image of an official photo that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1924. Shown here in the Pennsylvania Railroad's Erecting & Machine Shop are two partially-completed Class K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" steam locomotives: #5380 and an unidentified companion suspended above it. #5380 was built during June of 1924 and retired in January of 1949 after 25 years of faithful service. (Not Burket Collection.) |
