WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engine #4436 and another unit whose number is not recorded. #4436 is an E-44 built by General Electric during April of 1962. They are pulling a southbound mixed-cargo freight train through the North Philadelphia Station. |
