Birmingham. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Birmingham, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #7246 and #7201. Both are EFS-17M's built by EMD rated at 1,750 horsepower each; #7246 was built in 1959, but #7201 was built in 1957. They are pulling a westbound string of empty hopper cars. This photo was taken where State Route 453 bridges both the railroad tracks and the Little Juniata River. |
