Birmingham. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Birmingham, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here is PRR engine #6307 and two other units whose numbers are not visible. #6307 is an AF-27 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1965 and rated at 2,700 horsepower. They are pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. This photo was taken at the stone quarry crossing, just off of State Route 453. |
