All are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics." #3747 was constructed in Juniata in March of 1920 and retired in November of 1957, while #5406 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February of 1927 and retired in February of 1955. The simultaneous presence of both catenary and third-rail power delivery systems suggest that this photo was taken at Manhattan Transfer near Harrison, New Jersey.
