Meadows. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5379, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1924 and retired in April of 1958. Visible at the right is PRR engine #9321, a GS-4 switcher built by General Electric in April of 1949, rated at 380 horsepower, and retired in June of 1964. Description:
Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide by Norton D. Clark that was taken in Curtis Bay, Maryland, on 13 March 1965. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9349, #9325, #9323, and four more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by General Electric and rated at 300 horsepower each. #9349 is a GS-4 constructed in December of 1948 and retired in June of 1964. #9325 is a GS-4 built in November of 1947 and retired in June of 1964. And #9323 was constructed in April of 1949 and retired in June of 1964. (Actual Annotation: "MAR 13 1968")

BWCX. Here is a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was published in his book entitled "The Pennsy In The 1960's: The Final Decade," page 56. Photo Caption: "GS4 #9328 at Salem, N.J., summer 1964. It was one of 46 GE 44-ton switchers obtained for light switching assignments, especially in areas with tight curves." #9328 is a GS-4 built by General Electric in June of 1948, rated at 380 horsepower, and sold to the Berwind-White Coal Mining Company for the Hollidaysburg Car Shops.
