Description:  Here is the first of four original photos of deadlined GG-1's that were taken by an unidentified photographer at Amtrak's Electric Locomotive Shops in Wilmington, Delaware, on 21 June 1981. Shown here (L to R) are New Jersey Transit engine #4878, AMTK engine #4908, and three other units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics built by the Pennsylvania Railroad's Juniata Shops and rated at 4,620 horsepower each. #4878 was constructed in February of 1939 and originally numbered "4878," whereas #4908 was built in August of 1940 and originally numbered "4907."
