Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by William D. Volkmer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 12 April 1963. Photo Caption: "EMD GP-30 #2222, 2250-hp, at Enola, Pa." Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2222 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are EF-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #2222 was constructed in April of 1963. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-54).

Description:
AHC. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1967. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2222, #2281, and #2221. All were built by GM-EMD. #2222 and #2221 are EF-22's constructed in April of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each, while #2281 is an EF-25 built in June of 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. In this context, they're rounding the Curve on their way down to East Altoona after finishing a helper/pusher run up "The Mountain." Produced and distributed by FJC Products of Newport, Delaware.
