SFM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Duncannon, Pennsylvania, on 6 November 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6811, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1926 and retired in September of 1959 after 33 years of faithful service. In this context, it's hauling a westbound string of hopper cars under Signal Bridge #1160.

Description:
Burkey. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6811, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in August of 1926 and retired in September of 1959. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #6361, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata in July of 1926 and retired in February of 1959. Also visible is the top of the East Altoona Coaling Tipple. (#17 of 25)
