Here is page one of a four-page camera study by William Moedinger entitled "Strasburg Rail Road." It was published originally in the May 1969 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 18. Bottom Photo Caption: "Last Decapod still operating in the U.S. is Strasburg No. 90, former Great Western 2-10-0, capable of heavy road service." SRC engine #90 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during June of 1924.

Top Photo, Partial Caption: "Though Strasburg interchanges freight with the Penn Central, and PC passenger trains pass the junction at Leaman Place, connections are not convenient for travelers going to Strasburg Rail Road via the PC." Shown at the left is SRC engine #90, a 2-10-0 "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during June of 1924.

RRMP. Here is an original photo that I took at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on 30 June 1973. Shown here is Strasburg Rail Road engine #90, a "Decapod" (2-10-0) built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during June of 1924. Ms. Twyla Jean King is at the throttle!
