Album Info:Here are the front cover and a 14-page cover article by Jerry A. Pinkepank entitled "Born At Beloit: The Cinderella Of Dieseldom ~ Fairbanks-Morse." They were published originally in the November 1964 issue of "Trains" magazine, pages 36-49. "In August 1944, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, & Pacific locomotive No. 1802, FM serial L-1001, was ready for testing and delivery. Fairbanks, Morse, & Company was well on its way in the locomotive business." (Page 44)

This locomotive is presently on display at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois.
