Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9543 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9543 is an EH-15 built in October of 1948, later regeared and reclassified as an EF-15, and retired in May of 1966 after just 18 years of revenue service. |
