Description:  Price. Here is a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on 7 October 1946. Caption On Reverse: "EB Coal Train." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6715, an M-1A built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B by 1953, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. It's passing the Huntingdon Icing Plant with a mineral train out of Altoona bound for East Coast markets. Brad Mann Collection.

Description:  Price. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Enola, Pennsylvania, on 28 October 1954. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9785 and three other F-Class units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each; #9785 was built in February of 1951. They have just departed Enola Yard with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to Altoona and points West.

Both are J-1 (2-10-4) "Texas" steam locomotives built in Juniata during February of 1943. #6474 was retired in September of 1957, while #6472 was retired in April of 1958.
