Here are 19 photos of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives that were taken in and about Camden, New Jersey, during the years 1952-1967. Almost all of them were purchased via eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Tim Rose. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), and the date are cited when specified on the slide mount. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4772, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by General Electric in November of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in October of 1962 after 30 years of faithful service. Trenton. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Trenton, New Jersey, on 23 August 1953. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1814, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata as number "5704" during 1924, renumbered "1814" in January of 1952, and retired in February of 1954. Looks to me like #1814 and several other "Ten-Wheelers" have been marshalled for movement to the scrap dock. ("Stoneborobranch"; #6 of 19)
