| Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9655 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9655 is an EF-15A constructed as an EH-15 in February of 1950, later regeared and reclassified as an EF-15A, and retired in April of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
