Here is the photo from a one-page article entitled "Death By Rail: 22 Die When A Train Jumps Curve." It was published originally in the 3 March 1947 issue of "Life" magazine, page 38. Photo Caption: "Sprawling down a 150-foot embankment, the Pennsylvania Railroad's crack 'Red Arrow' lies shattered at a sharp curve in the Allegheny Mountains." Discernable in the very center of the photo is the wreckage of two PRR K-4S "Pacifics": #422 and #3771. The photographer is not identified.
