| Kern. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred R. Kern that was taken near Cove, Pennsylvania, on 17 October 1960. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9535 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9535 is an EF-15 constructed in September of 1948 and retired in December of 1966 after just 18 years of service.
