PRR 1920, H-9S, 1957
Camden. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 3 March 1957. Prominent here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #1920 and a "B" Class (0-6-0) switcher whose number is not recorded. #1920 is an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8SB during August of 1912, later rebuilt as an H-9S, and retired in April of 1958 after 46 years of faithful service. ("Stoneborobranch"; #47 of 69)
