PRR 5865, EP-20, 1962
MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken near Cove, Pennsylvania, on 9 June 1962. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5865 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #5865 is an EP-20 constructed in February of 1948 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. This A-A-A set will soon cross the Rockville Bridge and arrive in Harrisburg with a ten-car passenger train bound for New York City. ("Stoneborobranch"; #54 of 56)
