Oil Power. Here is an original photo that was taken near Olean, New York, c. 1965. Shown here is the business end of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8485, an AS-10AMS built by the American Locomotive Company in May of 1952 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. All of the requisite "AMS" plumbing is visible in this view. The photographer's name and the date are not recorded.
