PRR 3556, H-9S, 1956         
SFM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Worthington, Ohio, on 7 June 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3556, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as H-8SB number "6607" during November of 1911, renumbered "3556" in 1913, rebuilt as an H-9S in June of 1918, and retired in October of 1958 after 47 years of service. It's passing WORTHINGTON Tower with a two-hopper train; the number of the N-5 cabin car is not recorded.
