Here is the third of three original photos by an unidentified photographer of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3108, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during September of 1923 and retired in February of 1953 after 30 years of faithful service. In this context, it's parked with a two-car train at the Passenger Station in Reading, c. 1950. Roy Healey Collection; #18 of 38. |
