Here is page one of an eight-page article by William D. Gorman entitled "Steam From Altoona." It was published originally in the December 1963 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 24. Photo Caption: "Pennsy No. 4497, class I-1s, eastbound from Newberry Junction, Pa., to Enola in June, 1955, crosses Rockville Bridge. Photo by David Plowden." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4497, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built as an I-1S by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during May of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in September of 1940, and retired in August of 1957.
