| Slope to Works. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train between SLOPE and WORKS Towers in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 06 June 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2533, #2532, and #2531. All are GF-25's built by General Electric in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. They are passing WORKS Tower with a westbound ore train. |
