PRR "Power To Burn," Page 73, 1976         
Here is page 73 of a 96-page monograph entitled "Power To Burn: Smoke, Steam, & Cinders" that was edited by James M. Shafer and published during 1976. Partial Caption: "Line prehistoric monsters, the four huge PRR cranes are shown in March, 1947, lifting one of the two wrecked locomotives to track level at the scene of the Red Arrow wreck at Bennington Curve." The locomotive in question is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #422, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and scrapped in April of 1947 after 30 years of faithful service.
