Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Bridgeton, New Jersey, c. 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines engine #6074, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as Pennsylvania Railroad engine "3619" during November of 1913, renumbered PRSL "6074" in 1939, renumbered "9952" in 1946, and retired in March of 1953 after 40 years of faithful service. Partially visible at the far right is PRSL wooden caboose #213. The name of the Railroader servicing the ashpan is not recorded. (Not from "Stoneborobrahch") |
