Here is page 11 of a 16-page article by Mark Smith & Michelle Giroux entitled "Where 14,000 Labored." It was published originally in the July-August 1987 issue of "Locomotive & Railway Preservation" magazine, page 23. Bottom Photo: Shown here undergoing tests in the Pennsylvania Railroad's Locomotive Test Plant in Altoona, is engine #6110, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1942 and retired in December of 1953 after just 11 years of revenue service.
