Agnes. Here is the first of two successive original photos that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 24 June 1972. Shown here are turgid flood waters flowing under the Penn Central's Juniata River Railroad Bridge in the wake of Hurricane Agnes. Two PC gondolas loaded with scrap are parked there to help maintain stability.
