Description:  CCC. Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad cabin car #477016, an N-5 built in the Altoona Car Shops during March of 1916. In more recent times, it's been outfitted with a radio and electronic tracking modules ~ and painted "focal orange"! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

Description:  Dziobko. Here is the second of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 September 1951. Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2001, a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in June of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower, later rebuilt as an ABF-18 rated at 1,800 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service.

Title:  PRR 9530, EF-15, 1951
Description:  Dziobko. Here is is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 September 1951. Prominent in the center is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9530 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9530 was constructed in September of 1948. Visible in the background is a portion of Juniata's 8th Street Bridge, with ROSE Tower situated just beyond it.
